The Gemeiforge Story — From a Small Workshop to a Global OEM Partner
A Journey of Craftsmanship Since 2008
Gemeiforge began its journey in 2008 in Yangjiang, China — a region long famous for knife manufacturing. What started as a small workshop focused on kitchen knife blades has grown into a full-cycle manufacturing facility trusted by global brands and distributors.
Today, our factory operates with around 240 skilled employees and produces up to 180,000 knives per month across kitchen knives, chef knives, pocket knives, hunting knives, tactical knives, Damascus knives, and outdoor knives.
Our Journey in Numbers
Milestones Along the Way
The Beginning
Gemeiforge was founded as a small knife workshop in Yangjiang, China, focusing on kitchen knife blades and hand finishing.
Expanding Product Lines
Introduced chef knives and outdoor knives, and started working with our first OEM and ODM clients.
A Larger Workshop
Moved to bigger production facilities and added dedicated stamping and grinding lines to support growing demand.
Investing in Modern Machinery
Invested in CNC lathes and laser cutting machines, and began producing pocket knives and tactical knives.
Scaling Up
Reached a production capacity of 100,000+ knives per month and added a Damascus steel product line.
Full-Cycle Manufacturing
Expanded the team to around 240 employees and grew capacity to 180,000 knives per month, serving global brands and distributors across six product lines.
